Mark Lawson: You've been in high-profile roles for a long time, but recently with Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, these were things in terms of public recognition. Were you of that? More people goggling.
Dame Maggie Smith: It's ridiculous. I led a normal life until Downton Abbey. [The crowd is laughing]. No, I'm not . I mean, I'd go to theatres, I'd go to and things like that on my own. Mark Lawson: And you talked about not liking to watch . So, Downton Abbey, would you ever settle down on a Sunday night?
Dame Maggie Smith: I've not seen that ever. No, I haven't seen it. People are. I suppose it got to a point when it was too to catch up. So, I don't know. And it all merges in my now. I couldn't tell what one thing from another now.
